Our founder

Ankit Sohoni

Mountaineer and trek leader. Ankit started WildHeartt to share the mountains the way he learned them: prepared, curious, and with respect for the places and people along the way.

The goal behind WildHeartt

Our goal is not simply to take people to extraordinary places. It is to help them experience those places with greater understanding, humility and responsibility.

Ankit Sohoni, founder

He wants every participant to come home stronger and better prepared, and more aware of the trail, the ecosystem and the communities that make a journey possible.

And he wants a culture where reaching a summit is an achievement, but making the right decision, even when it means turning back, is valued just as much.

Six expeditions

Summits and attempts across the Caucasus, East Africa and the Indian Himalaya.

Basic and Advanced Mountaineering Courses, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling, both with an 'A' grade.
